ஒரே ஒரு குறைதான் எனக்கு:

சமீபத்தில் ரட்சகன் படத்தில் வரும் நெஞ்சே நெஞ்சே பாடலை கேட்டேன்,அதில் பாடகி “நேஞ்சே நேஞ்சே” என்று பாடும் போது கொஞ்சம் எரிச்சல் வந்தாலும் ரஹ்மானின் இசைக்காக மற(ன்னி)க்கிறோம்.

”உல் நெஞ்சம் அடிக்கும் உல்லுக்குல் துடிக்கும்” என்று உச்சரிக்கும்போது அது யாருடைய இசையாக இருந்தாலும் மன்னிக்க தோன்றாது...

இது ர.பி(ரஹ்மானுக்கு பின்)காலகட்டத்தில் எல்லாருடைய இசையிலும் அதிகம் காணப்படுகிறது.

ஏ.ஆர். ரஹ்மானின் இந்த வெற்றி இந்தியாவின் வெற்றி. அவருடைய “கண்ணுக்கு மை அழகு” பாடலை அடிப்படையாக கொண்டு இதோ சில வரிகள் ரஹ்மானுக்காக:

ரோஜாவில் இசை அழகு
பம்பாயும் தான் அழகு
காதலனின் தனி அழகு

Hi Sathya:

Rehman completely deserves it and its not a kind of windfall like our Miss World/Universe. He had to come across lots and lots of undue criticism (for copying or repeating), until he identified & established himself with a unique sound of his music. His humbleness is a rare thing to see in such a popular and sought after person. As you wished there are billions of people waiting for his Oscar Award and am sure he is heading towards that.

By the way, your posts are very interesting and keep up your great work.
