I have to appreciate you that you are standing tall as the odd person out by seeing something different in the statement of Kerala CM from what "all of India" saw and finally what the Kerala CM himself saw so as to apologize for it publicly.
Well to say the least Regionalism sucks.
I was very happy that Rahman said thank u to a Billion People of India.
I am proud of Rahman,I am proud of what he has done, I love his music and it doesn't worry me one bit where he hails from.
I totally agree with you. The motivation that his music is enjoyed by fans all across India and Indians living across the globe should have contributed to his hard work when composing music.
I was moved seeing him read the small sentence from a small slip that he carried with him and that disarming smile of his.
In my personal opinion, A R Rahman's must have been THE humblest acceptance speech ever in the history of an award function of the size and importance of Golden Globe.
Well,"Kuppai Maettu Kuberan" would suit a Tamil Dubbing of the movie!
